The information provided during this training enables participants to better identify the issues and limits of education in emotional life, relationships and sexuality (EVARS), to question the right educational stance, to discover approaches and content adapted to the different stages of development of children and adolescents, to make a report to the authorities, and to better manage the occurrence of problematic sexual behaviour.

This training course offers both information (epistemological and legal data, etc.) and practical input (answers, know-how, tools, etc.) on the subject of education for emotional life, relationships and sexuality with minors.

OBJECTIVES

  • Understanding the history, framework and challenges of EVARS
  • Improve your knowledge of the various topics relating to EVARS
  • Providing solutions and tools for professionals working with children and teenagers
  • Gathering the views of minors without hindering the work of specialist investigators
  • Reflect on the way you represent sexuality
  • Develop interpersonal, pedagogical and methodological skills in the implementation of education in emotional life, relationships and sexuality (EVARS) for minors.

CONTENTS

  • Theoretical background on the psychosexual development of children and adolescents
  • Spotting, gathering information and typology of reports of minors in danger
  • Discovering EVARS programmes and tools
  • Case studies provided by the speaker and participants
  • Self-analysis of feelings and representations
  • Interactive group discussions

The trainer adapts to the knowledge, skills, demands and needs of the participants.

TEACHING METHODS AND RESOURCES

  • Theoretical/cognitive input supported by a slide show
  • Ethical reflection illustrated by clinical or situational vignettes
  • Reflective analysis of professional practices and clinical illustrations
  • Distribution of prevention materials specific to each participant

LEARNING ASSESSMENT

Validation of prior learning with quiz, situation analysis and scenarios.
Evaluation of participant satisfaction using a personal questionnaire on the achievement of objectives, the training programme, delivery methods and the overall quality of the training.

LOGISTICS

Provide a video projector with an HDMI cable long enough to reach the speaker, and a system for broadcasting sound via HDMI or 3.5mm jack. Provide rooms to divide participants into 3 to 5 sub-groups of 3 to 5 people.

This course can be adapted to facilitate access for people with disabilities.
