This collaborative workshop provides an opportunity to learn about psychosocial skills (PSC) and their benefits, and to discover approaches and techniques to help develop these skills for different audiences.

This workshop is an opportunity for participants to discuss their questions, expectations and concerns about psychosocial skills.

OBJECTIVES

  • Discovering psychosocial competencies (PSC) and how they came to be theorised
  • Understanding the challenges and limitations of SPCs
  • Understanding your own cognitive biases and the challenge of learning to master them
  • Discovering different activities for developing SPCs at different ages
  • Discussing professional practices in relation to SPCs

  • Welcome, presentation of the speaker and the workshop
  • Introductory quiz
  • Link between learning to cope with frustration and CPS
  • History of CPS theorising
  • Presentation of CPS
  • Effects and benefits of SPCs on health
  • Cognitive bias

TEACHING METHODS AND RESOURCES

  • Theoretical/cognitive input supported by a slide show and video
  • Ethical reflection illustrated by clinical or situational vignettes
  • Reflective analysis of professional practices and clinical illustrations
  • Distribution of prevention materials specific to each participant
    (in videoconferencing, links to materials in digital format)

LEARNING ASSESSMENT

Evaluation of participant satisfaction using a personal questionnaire on the achievement of objectives, the workshop programme, facilitation methods and the overall quality of the intervention.

LOGISTICS

By video : Provide a camera and a working microphone for each person, and a sufficient connection to ensure fluid exchanges during the workshop.

Face-to-face : Provide a video projector with an HDMI cable long enough to reach the speaker, and a system for broadcasting sound via HDMI or 3.5mm jack. Provide rooms to divide participants into 3 to 5 sub-groups of 3 to 5 people.
